Queenstown hunting permits

Due to system maintenance, hunting permits requiring payment will not be able to be purchased on Wednesday 15th July 2026 between 03:00 am and 04:30 am NZST.

Book one of 11 restricted hunting blocks for up to 4 - 5 days, depending on block.
Book up to 12 months ahead. You can only book one block for a given period.
There is no fee to book these blocks.
A person must only hold one hunting permit for Queenstown wild animal restricted hunting blocks in a calendar month.
